Throttle Cable

Can anyone help me with where I can find a throttle cable for my 93 Typhoon, either here in the UK or anywhere. I have contacted a GMC dealer in Orlando, Florida, USA and they have told me that this part is now obsolete. If no one knows where, than, does anyone know an alternative.
