throttle body leak

idle has been hunting, did a leak test and replaced a couple things ( egr delete gasket and vacuum plug on backside of TB)...found out there was a leak in the shaft of the TB where linkage goes in. If theres not an easy fix after I search here, does anyone know the BBK replacement part number, and would I need anything else if I buy that?

stock turbo / a/c delete etc.

Re: throttle body leak

I know there is a guy who rebuilds and ports the stock throttle body while sealing up the shaft with new bushings so it doesn't leak. My buddy on here has had his done before. You might want to PM him about it. He goes by SRT NOT. His TBs came out beautiful.

Do a search for Matt Blum. I just got mine back about 2 weeks ago from him. Excellent guy and super fast turn around. Took less than a week.

What's the cost of something like this?

Something like what? I paid Blum $140ish? and he did everything I asked him, bored it out, installed new bushings, and plugged off the vacuum ports.

Re: throttle body leak

When I just got mine done it was in the 140 range as well. Bored to twin 52mm, new buttery flies to match, bead blasted, hot tanked as well, New bushings, modified the shaft for less restriction and a custom plate with syclone and my truck number.

Re: throttle body leak

he called me back right away, but i missed it. probably going to use him on everyones recommendation, but i found that ARIZONA SPEED AND MARINE is blowing out their CNC billet that was $595 for $295.........although more pricey than what Matt can do, its a good deal. they have 3 or 4 left at that price.
