If someone wants to run for cash, and you believe what someone posts about their car on the internet (including pictures), then you might want to recosider your choice of street racing as a hobby. Those pics could well be from the day he bought the car. You might show up and find out that he has a massive front mount, drag radials on all four corners, and a turbo the size of your head... what exactly are you going to do then?

Don't talk smack until you have seen the car in person. ;)

P.S. - That website is so horribly bad that I want to say this HAS to be a hustle.

This is Colorado Springs, there are tons og guys like this flaoting around. If that car were anything special Im pretty sure I wouldve seen it here and there at meets and hangouts. But to answer your question, Ild race him anyway. I wouldnt back down from anyone even if I know Ill lose.

The story changes when money is involved though. I too will race anyone for free but when money is on the line, I like to do my research before accepting. I'm a tight ass like that and like to know I have more than a good chance at winning.

Update....apparently, my friends wife was at work the other day and the friend of the guy that owns the Talon, started talking crazy shit, saying that there is no way in hell a truck could ever beat any car in a race period. I guess he goes on to say that the Talon has 8k under the hood and that Ild be a waste of his time. He also says that after this month or somethign he is going to get something for tl or whatever the hell he has that will smoke my friends WS6 :rotf: These guys are great. I get the feeling that the guy with the Talon knows absolutely nothing about this, but it will be halarious when he finds out. If we cant catch these guys soon, were going to show up at their next meet, both of us. Guess they added a new Vette to their mix but I cant see it.

Interesting, my dad has Firefox and thats how I saw some of the other pics, at his house. Ill have to try IE. Only updates is what I posted, me and my wife prowling for races last night but I didnt see any of their cars anywhere.
