i hear these are kinda of a trend going around with the ohio guys. :rotf:

sy2932 told me the story about these and he even wore the jacket. so now i want one.

SO IF ANYONE HAS A NEON BLUE SYCLONE JACKET SEND ME A PM, CAUSE I WANNA BUY ONE.

You got your request all wrong, the color is TEAL. You gotta admit that you didn't have any trouble finding me is Summit Racing Equipment right ;)??? I bet that Brian E. (Sy-1177) would be willing to part with his. That is, if he even still has it

LOL... all I remember is us wearing them at the Quaker Steak in Columbus for our meet :rotf: I still have mine, its locked away in the vault!! It is a very stylish jacket though! :rainbow: :colors:

Hey I do have the neon blue Typhoon version of that jacket! Scott Husner of the board used to sell them, don't know if still has any left though. I'll try to get a pic of mine. Even have a black Typhoon shirt with purple lettering, also shiny polyester material. Where's disco when ya need it

Kind of a late 80's holdover into the early 90's. Teal, fuschia, yellow...all very big in the 80's. Why they were associated with decidedly masculine badass trucks is a mystery.

I have Daron's old one!
Even made him sign his truck# inside it in the winnebago the night he relinquished it.
I think dig owned it before him so I need his hancock on it too.

One of those pieces of SyTy history... lol
I never thought someone would WANT the teal Syclone jackets but they are certainly "eye catching".

Exactly!! Its not like I wear the thing too often, but the laugh factor is worth more than the jacket ever would be! And it IS a piece of SYTY history! :tup:

I have what I would call a Teal one still in the wrapper. Color looks a little darker than what is in the picts though. I would gladly trade it for a black one. Can send picts if interested.

a couple teal ones sold on ebay last year all around 40-90 depending on the day but most had been smalls
