More pics here.

I really, really liked the color scheme. The interior looked pretty good, though it looks as though there's some red paint overspray on the seats. The current owner bought it as-is, so doesn't really seem to know much about the mods or history of it. Baer brakes, several ATR parts to start.

Thanks for running out there for me.

What sort of ATR parts? Does it have rear discs? Are those fat man seats??

The engine doesn't sound too happy, I'm hoping that is just the video...

I saw ATR IC pump, aux IC, Baer brakes (front and rear), and what looks to be seats and door panels out of a '93. I didn't check to see if the power features were hooked up on the seats, it didn't cross my mind til I'd left. I agree, the engine didn't sound like it was holding up well.

So the engine sounds as bad in person as it does in the vid? :?

Maybe one of the other locals will check it out and chime in. Just sounds a little rough to me, for that kinda money.

Re: the blue Sy FS

Update. I talked to the "new" owner tonight. He's going to be making a couple payments on the truck, and bringing it home. He's already got plans to pull the motor and go through it. I don't know how long he intends to hold onto this one, as he's already got a red/grey '92 Ty I've had a stiffy for for years. He talked about selling it once the motor's done. Should have more pics in a couple weeks (BBQ at his place on the 10th hint hint).

I hope the new owner gets active on the board, or shows up to meets. That's always been a great looking truck that should stay "in the family". I think if GM would've continued to produce the Syclone and offered color options, this color scheme would have been a big seller.

Any clue what he paid? If that motor wasn't scary, or the price was better, or it was local, I probably would have that truck in my garage...

Re: the blue Sy FS

He mentioned some numbers, but I didn't ask directly. Turns out he's known the owner for a few years, so that probably worked in his favor. Pm some contact info, and I can pass it on to Ron for his future use if you like.
