The reason Pennie checked seguin is the fact that it's located no more than fifteen minutes from the track....if anyone has any ideas or suggestions, please speak up...This doesn't have to be set in stone if everyone doesn't agree....we also need to see about rsvp's in the next couple of weeks from the people that are serious about attending so we can secure some hotel rooms at this affordable rate... :tup:

My girl and I will more than likely return to Dallas after the Austin portion of the meet so we won't be needing a room for the evening. I'm really looking forward to this thing. I'll be bringing the video camera for sure.

Well might have some good news, if all goes as planned my Typhoon will be done in time to drive it to the meet. If not im probably buying a 86 2door 2.8 S10 Blazer for $1g this week. I've been meaning to get a beater S truck to park the TY from it's spoiled daily driven life. The blazer is a two tone baby blue/tan metallic and is in realy good shape. I'll stay a the best western, not sure if i can afford a room for myself at this point. i'll further investigate my funds.

That's cool Erik...shouldn't be a big deal finding someone to share a room....I could grab two adjoining rooms as they consist of two double beds in one room and a kingsize bed in the other....that way you and Jeremy could stay in the double room and my wife and I could stay in the other....just a thought....That would be four rooms so far.....I hope everyone else chimes in so we can get a sufficient amount of rooms reserved.....Thanks Jac for the heads up...We look forward to seeing you again man....

That would be cool Servando, from the way it looks i'll have some extra cash to throw down. Not getting the blazer it ended up being a POS. Stopped by the body shop today and the owner reply'd to my question about it being done by the 22 of October and he said "i sure as hell hope so". Im hoping everthing turns out well. I'll be able to drive the rental down for the weekend if it's not done, that would suck. FYI i'll be at the park around 10 to begin setting up and gettting some food ready to cook, I will be cooking up a storm by 11 becuase i'll be one hungry mofo. Steak, mmmm

Hey, great news guys....at least for me. I finally got a job! After two months of down-time and milking my checking and savings accounts down to almost nothing, I found a spot that will work with school. The orientation is from Oct. 17 - 28th but its only Monday thru Friday so the weekend is still good! :tup: Now I'll have some money by the meet. Alright, that's all I got....

Hey Servando, My buddy John sold his Syclone he bought like three months ago to someone in San Antonio. Cant remember his name but John told me he was mexican decent and was going to use it for his DD and he knew you. So you know the dude, John is suppose to deliver the truck today or tommarow to him. It had a check engine light for a code 43 ESC. "I" put another known knock sensor in it and fixed the problem at Johns request for a promise to the buyer. John is a lazy Mofo and he always had me working on his Ty and Sy. I did alot to the Syclone and it sure is nice with 45k and is a good deal for $15,100. I knew it would sell, i just thought it would sell to someone whom i would never see or hear of it again after how many hours i put into it. Well i'd better see this thing on the 22nd!

The days are flying by!! Damn, I have alot of work to do as I'm sure most of us do....I built a new syty/L35 motor for the crippled sy....should be installing it this weekend...Right John? :D Work has been very hectic in Laredoville....Seems to have calmed down now (hopefully)...Jim, we're going to have to hit that new Bone Daddy's type place you guys had mentioned last time we got together up there....Bruce mentioned they were gearing up to have a nicer setting ;) ....see ya guys soon...I'm off to San Antonio now before it gets too late!! Eric, if you see this post tonight, give me a ring again as I'll be on the road for the next few hours....Those sy's are really starting to add up in San Antonio now...cool....anyone heard from Daron?
