Long story guys so bare with me :lol:
I did not wake up this morning expect to make a purchase on a typhoon, but it happened. long story short, I drove up to Milton wi to get some parts from a buddy.. We talked about a typhoon that I seen up there about 9 years ago, thought it was green.. So we started joking and decided to try and find it since we both had a idea where it was.. So we drive across town and found the house, and seen two vehicals underneath covers.. I could tell right off the bat the front was a typhoon and had to have been the green one..
So I walk up to the door, a lady came and answered and before I even said hi, she said are you here for the syclone and typhoon? I said uh yea, how did you know? she said cause we seen the truck you were in "s10 sbc loud" haha.. So she said which you interested in, I said uh... both?.. so she pulled the cover off the syclone and wow, just wow, very clean, 80k miles, 20k on motor, 2 owner and fresh paint. she wanted 13g for it though, and I cant touch it for that price so I thought I was screwed on the typhoon..
so here comes the typhoon, I remember it being kinda rough, thought it was also green, but after talking to a few peeps, there convinced its teal "im colorblind though" haha.. here she is exactly the way I seen it 9 years ago. Said it didn't run, and she was motivated to sell.. I figured for how much she wanted for the sy I couldn't get this, but she threw a number.. and we talked, and talked and talked.. I got her down to where I felt comfortable paying for it.. and we agreed on price, shook hands, and I gave her a hug cause I was so thrilled to own another typhoon lol.
so after we agreed on price, I figured id need to trailor it home.. I seen it needed a battery so we picked up a new battery quick down the street and few gallons of gas.. She fired right up and purred like a kitten.. I was in complete shock to the point I was almost crying lol just so overwhelmed here.. So shortly later im off to bank to pull cash, I get back a hour later and she has a folder full of papers, recipts, just everything, and the best was the perfect condition window sticker!!! there is a full list of stuff replaced on this truck. So we took a few pictures together since she has owned it so long, but she was very thrilled its going to a home where it will get cared for and fixed up. So I hoped in after checking fluids which let alone the oil still looked brand new!.. drove down to the gas station and got some fresh gas.. By then I realized this truck is so sold! alignment is straight, there is no random noises, everything worked like it should.
I drove 20 min to work "on way home anyways" and gave it a major wash.. made the guys at work drool over it since I own two now haha. and here she is at home! the paint is faded but will buff right out.
Ive been wanting to buy a typhoon for my fiancé, she loves driving mine.. She has no idea I bought this, and she should be home in about a hour.. I have a feeling she is gonna cry and ill be getting some good booty tonight haha :tup:
