Saw one today in town(Yakima WA), never seen it before. I didnt get to stop to check what number. Caldding is all there, a little out of alignment and the driver door is in bad shape. i will try to get a number, and see if they might be interested in letting it go.

Re: teal sogt

So I stopped by today to get some pics of the truck, I actually met the owner and talked with him for a while. He was a real nice guy who has owned the truck for a long time. It does need some work, but overall, is not bad. The trucks out here dont rust so the body panels are all there, there is some surface rust where the paint has peeled but it is very minor, and two bullet holes. The interior is messy but is in pretty good shape, needs a few panels fixed like drivers side window switch and console lid, seats looked really good also. One piece of cladding is cracked from what I could see, back drivers side, but it looks like an easy fix. He said he took it to a shop and was told the injectors needed replaced. He had been on the forum a while back and said he may stop in. The truck was number 0015. He said he would sell it for $1000, if no one were to buy it he wants o bring it back to its former glory. If I had any money after my new engine I would have brought it home.

here is the pics

He knew they were rare, But used to live in not such a good area. People dont respect others property and some one wrote on it with a key and shot it twice, He has been wanting to restore it also.

BULLET HOLES?!?! it looks as though it may have been the correct angel to have put a hole in the gas tank to. hmmm

what the hell did he do to get shot at lol

I dont know, like I said it used to be in a rougher part of town. He said he wasnt in it, was a random drive-by. Pretty sure it missed the tank, but it would only blow if they were shooting tracer rounds though, tanks blowing up from bullets is hollywood stuff

Is the truck located in Yakima, WA? If he's really interested in selling it my cousin will scoop it up.

Re: teal sogt

hmm, think you could get some more information on it. Dependable? Road Worthy? Any real issues? You mentioned the owner said it needed some work.

I sold my #501 to my cousin and I have the cash in hand. My cousin is not to far from Yakima.

He said it was running great, then one day it just started running really rough. It was supposed to have been diagnosed as needing injectors, I dont think it is ready for a trip in its current state, that is as much as he told me. I did get his number, I can ask him if he minds and I can pm it to you. I will let you know tomorrow.

Re: teal sogt

Matt, I'm interested too. If I can't hide it over here at my place, my dad lives about as far the other way in Spokane. Pm any details if he's serious about selling.

I would love to have this truck as it's #0015 & to match my #0380 but I don't have a grand right now nor the money to cruise out to WA but GOODLUCK to who ever buys it & Keep in Touch ;)
