I would think a bigger stall would be a good idea 2800 or so..just my opinion.

Wastegate adjustment sounds like needs to happen. Maybe even some Wastegate Duty Cycle changes in your chip.

Yea, I'm not sure with a TE44, I used to run a TE45A and could boost 8-10psi off the line before I even moved. Then again I think I had a low 3k stall and turbonetics wastegate/blow off. Your boost problems won't have anything to do with injectors, but when you do push the turbo its possible you could need more fuel. Personally I would have to say its either stall or what the other guy said. If you do need injectors I'll have a set of 50 lbs. used for about 1k miles. I need to upgrade to 84 lbs. with a 67 billet turbo.

You need a looser convertor "more stall". I used a "bad dog"20g and I couldn't get more than 2 #.
Untill I changed the Stall.
Common problem when you use a bigger turbo. It takes more energy to move the turbine wheel.
The bigger the wheel, the more the lag

So do you think I can get away with a higher stall and turning the fuel pressure up to get this thing moving?

put a 2800 converter in and adjust fuel pressure accordingly... that should be good to get you rolling along pretty good for now! Converter is everything with these trucks and larger turbos. with out it you're not running to your potential.
