TC Problems?

When driving in OD going 60mph+ the RPM,s will shoot up only about 250 for a while then drop back,it feels like its slightly down shifting.I'm assuming its the TC locking and unlocking.I've always had shudder when I kick it down over 60mph,I'm thinking she's getting close to going out,that or I have some other issues with the tranny I suppose.My next step will be to change the fluid/filter and put some of that additive thats been mentioned,Whats it called prolong?I didnt notice it doing this either until after I did a tuneup and installed the new FP and FPR,if that matters.

I did just run a search on this,I know Im assbackwards,this was discussed and someone mentioned the thermostat being to low.The datamaster reads 160 once shes warm,so I dont think thats the problem.That additive I was thinking of was lubeguard not prolong,sorry.

try lifting up on the brake pedal while this happens. it could be the brake switch has come out of adjustment....it that isnt it...your TC solinoid could be puked...
