Tank Sending Unit Price. OUCH!

Pulled the tank yesterday and had to twist off the fittings on the sending unit. They wouldn't budge. I priced them out and it varies from 197.00 to 227.00 for a AC Delco. :eek: :x :-? Are there any alternatives? Aftermarket doesn't seem to exhist for these things.

I think i remember seeing one in a jegs. it was like under 20.00 dollars for the sending unit alone. i had to get it for my blazer, couldnt read any gas. try this:

wait, it could have been summit, but either way they are there for a lot cheaper. good luck, hope i could have helped you

Daron did a write up on repairing his. Do a search on the board for his user name and you should be able to turn it up. He used repair parts from Napa.
