So I got the truck in the road today and at first I left the prop shaft out and the truck would not want to move by it self but when I put the prop shaft in it was fine I just put a brand new Vc in it last year also all new bearings any Ideas what else it could be

Re: T case

Is this the first time trying to drive the truck since doing the vc? Did it feel like it was in neutral with the propshaft out, or locked up?

Re: T case

This is the first time with the prop shaft out and just rear hooked up and it act like it is in not in gear but if it is in the air it will turn the rear with no prob

I thought we were able to run them with out prop shafts that is y I thought I would leave it out

Re: T case

Well I found a j yard transfer case think I am going to take the Vc out of that and try again

The Vc I just bought was from cobra I hope they make good on it I bought it over a year ago and I told them that it had not been used more then 10 miles but the said they don't think they can replace it for me but they will talk to their supplier I hope they make good on it

I would do the torque wrench test first to save you some trouble. Not a big deal to do and it will tell you whether your vc is bad.....
