In the theme of things I think everybody has realized in a time of tragedy how close we are as a group of friends here on the board. Sure things happen, heck I have had some dispuits myself with people on the board/group. In the end though they are all minor though.
I have a lot of good stories and friends through this board. I think it would be great to start a thread talking about how a fellow syty owner either
Here is my start.
Back in 1998 I bought my typhoon. It was totalled and sat outside for a year. I spent 7 months fixing it up, and ready for the 1999 syty nats event. At the time I lived in Washington just south of Seattle.
3 of us left Seattle for the 2000mile 1 way adventure (Paul, Richard Le, and myself). We met up with Ed O'Roake in Boise for a caravan of 4 people.
1 speeding ticket and a good story later, and a day or so we ended up at Dabney's house in Colorado. Now I had never physically met Dabney, but he put all of us up in his house for the night. 4 strangers coming into your house for the evening you have never met. We even stole some parts from his ty, to try to fix a stuck WG on my own truck.
I have many more stories, this is just one of the first I have.
