i believe they used our cause they also used it in sunbirds (etc).

Has no boost gauge( not that they were accurate anyways). Most people run a aftermarket one, but that link you put up is for a exchange one. If your really interested in one, let me know. My buddy is wrecking a jimmy with one in it.

Thank god they didn't use the digital dash. I had one in my Corvette, the information delayed by a sec. My Corvette's transmisson has something funky with the 1-2 shift (shifted 500rpm early), so I did the 1-2 manually, the stupid dash would screw me up, so I just had ignore it and shift it by sound and check my datalogs later.

Our trucks would probably say 0 mph on boosted launch when they were doing the 1-2 shift. I imagine the J-Body or S-series digital dash's wouldn't even be upto the Corvette's level either.

There is a little delay with them but it is no where near 1 sec.

I like em.. I switched out the analog cluster in my clone for a digital one.

Maybe I exagerated a little with a full sec, but it was noticable difference. If I floored it to 60 (on the digital speed) mph and took my foot off the gas the speedometer would end up up 6 or 7 mph faster, this was on mid 13 sec Corvette.

I have/had a digital dash in all my S vehicles including my Braphoon. I love the digital dash and since I have an Autometer boost gauge it's all good.

i will have to go with the boost gauge issue. but if they did this option then they couldve put an aftermarket one on already for us. Every digi ive seen has gone out and they r expensive to replace and just the smallest delay could be the biggest mistake to ruin r trucks. just my .02

It's kind of fun to see it skip numbers, it does it enough with an N/A Blazer but a boost launched Syty is kind of funny. Goes from like 0-30 in a flash. :D
