No leaning over the console though, I'm from this side of the tracks.

LOL...I hear ya man  .

Yeah, so's PA. Pretty sure TX (where he's at) isn't though... And if the cops aren't gonna pull folks over for 90000k fake HID's or blue turn signals, they're not gonna bother with some tint - unless you give them a reason to. Around here the cops won't bug you if they think you might have a gun. And it's always a surprise when we're near the top of the list of most felonies per population in the country.

Cops are pretty anal around here plus its a HUGE revenue generator so they'll pull you over in a heart beat over tint...as well as ride height too low, ride height too high, clear tails, exh too loud, tires sticking out past the fender lip, etc etc etc.

If someone thinks I look like a soccer mom, they've got a bigger problem than I can address. :rotf:

You know Typhoons are just mini vans with extra windows right.... :p .

Rule#1 - Women must remove tight-fitting clothes.
Rule#2 - Passengers ride at their own risk and are responsible for any damage they cause. And leather cleans easier than cloth.

#1 Agreed.
#2 If the passenger breaks my back window with the back of their head during a launch they must buy me a new window.

Who am I kidding, I was looking for a Sy 2 years ago when I found the Ty...

Who am I kidding...I dont even like red and Ive been wanting a red ty since day one...

Note: All you ty owners know Im just having some fun/being ornery so no death threats please. If you must make threats or partake in ending myclones life all I can tell ya is take a number and form an orderly line.....theres a bunch of ppl waiting ahead of you.

Depends on your size. If you're a "bigger" guy (6' or more) you'll regret getting a Sy, especially if you do any kind of distance driving. One more click further back on the seat (legroom and/or tilt) than the Sy offers makes a HUGE difference. (And the fronts recline flat so you can sleep "comfortably". I'm 6' 220# and feel cramped in Sy's, less room inside than the Subie. (Or Saabie if you prefer) :rotf:

If you're worried about the leather, tint the windows. Or put Sy seats in it.

And if it's got a roofrack (eek) you can still get that 72" plasma home.

Scaring the hell out of 3 passengers > scaring the hell out of 1 passenger.

Drive each and decide.

yeah...i'm about 6'1" 155...not that big. just cut  i never thought about tint...i guess that could work. haha...definitely 3...i'm going to drive them both for sure. i first drove my friend's syclone and it was kind of small...but i don't know how it will compare to the ty.

They get about the same gas mileage. Sy were rated slightly less, if gas mileage is a consideration -your picking the wrong vehicle.

i don't really care about gas mileage...i just thought i'd ask. it's always a plus...

Re: syclone or typhoon?

both look nice but I do like the TY. I am 5' 9" and I feel like the SY is perfect for me. I run the seat all the way back. I could see the Sy being tight for a 6ft plus guy.
Dont know why the interior pics are small. Thats how they came to me.

I rode in a TY in 1995 but I always wanted a SY. I've always been big into car audio and that's the only regret about the SY. But I remember how heavy the equipment is and could slow it down.

I guess you cant do this with a SY.

But it will slow you down, or you can do what Tom did and pump out about 1000hp

Not sure on the turbo size. I am sure someone else here knows. Tom on logs on once in a while.
I am sure there are a lot of SyTy's Just as clean, its just the nicest one I have seen. Tom said the Glass and the paint are the only things left stock on the truck. It has a nice bowtie block built by RPM. It sounds like a V8.

Human factor.
You'll always want what you don't have. So if you choose a Typhoon then you'll want a Syclone and vise-versa. If you have both, then you'll want a GN or TTA.

For a guy that's 17, I would start out with a Syclone, which is just enough room for 2 bi@#s and a gxr in the back.

Yeah i know what you mean. I really want a ducati 999r or a hayabusa 1300r. my friends dad has the 1300r.

for me...i think the ty would be better...i dunno. i'll see when i go look at them.
