Re: Syclone in Bishop, CA 3/14/16

We are on the go here on the east coast; 4 hours ahead of you guys DaveP as you know. Though I wish I were on the West Coast in any little town like Bishop, CA...

That's the second lady driver spotted driving a syclone this month, now my wife wants to drive mine:rotf:

Re: Syclone in Bishop, CA 3/14/16

She was on my left at an intersection waiting for traffic. I did watch in my mirror for her, but she never caught up, if she came my direction. I was thinking about all the times I've gone through Bishop in DesertSy or one of the Typhoons, but this time was in the Super Duty so there was no point in honking or waving as it would be a "WTF was that for?" on her part. If she had reacted to the presence of another Sy or Ty, I may have been more inclined to see if she wanted to chat about the trucks and how she happened to be driving one in Bishop CA on a Monday afternoon for errands.

I've been going through Bishop 4-6 times a year for 30 years. Over the past 2 years probably 20 times as I'm going to Reno much more frequently now. All these trips up and down the Eastern Sierras I've never seen another SyTy. Maybe I'll see ithis one again and be in the Ty.

Did you happen to stop in or go through Bridgeport CA?

Your definitely a road warrior haha. I'm just wondering since I'm in Bridgeport pretty often and the twin lakes area. Usually in the spring-fall months, since the sonora pass is closed for winter. I live right on the other side of the sierras from Bridgeport, about 50 miles. I go camping and riding there alot and looking forward to taking the syclone over there. Really beautiful over there, they have nice fireworks too

My old lady was daily driving the typhoon for a little while. She would always get weird looks from people when they noticed what it was and that a little blonde was driving it.
