Re: syclone #881 HELP

Are you killing the computer? Ground issues or wiring problems sending spikes? How about the battery , cant that kill a computer if its having issues? ---

Re: syclone #881 HELP

Here's some history on the truck. Prior to posting this though, know that several board members on here have seen this truck in person, and two of the top tier knowledge level guys with these trucks worked on it and fixed NUMEROUS issues that were donked up by someone else some time along the line. AFAIK, when the truck was sold from Middle Tennessee, it was in great running condition and was tuned very well.

NOW, you may notice that I am leaving the name of those who did the work to it here in Tennessee, and I am purposely doing that, but understand, I am not doing it to be a dick or anything. I am doing it because once they were finished with it, the truck was in the best shape it had been since it had originally been donked with. SO, if something major has happened, then I would venture to say that it has been done somewhere between it leaving TN and it getting to your possession (IIRC, the truck went to California first and I am guessing that you bought it from someone in California?). I am sure that others will chime in on possible issues and I am posting the following information below so that you have an idea what's been wrong with it, however like I said, any "issues" which it had were addressed prior to it going to California, so don't want you thinking it's been a "problem child" that's been continually handed off still jacked up from previous owners.

Done by someone prior to it coming to Tennessee:
Complete Engine rebuild. Replaced the entire A/C system, Interior Air/Heat/Fan Control unit, both power window motors, OE airbox/filter/tubing, glove box (OE Syclone emblem), thermostat, starter, turbo, bushings (A arms, end link, sway bar), new shocks, replaced "carbon fiber" tail lights with OE ones, repaired the headliner, replaced the cluster and pillar gauges, serviced front and rear drive units (front axels, bearings, seals, fluids), added sound deadener, realigned the front cladding, replaced the bed liner, and relocated battery to the bed.

Done to the truck WHILE it was in Tennessee: Replaced the vacuum lines, correctly installed the stock turbo, replaced missing brackets, repaired wiring, new boost control solenoid, new OE fuel pressure regulator, Racetronix harness, walbro 255 ltr. fuel pump, new gas tank, realigned the rear cladding and misc other repairs.

It was also tuned while it was in Tennessee as well.

Here's a few pic of it as well prior to being sold and shipped out from TN:

Re: syclone #881 HELP

Also FWIW, the person who bought it was active on the forum so you may want to try and touch base with him to see if he can shed light on anything that may have been done to the truck while it was in his possession, although he hasn't logged in since July:

Re: syclone #881 HELP

I would like to add that it ran great when it left TN and made the drive from Nashville to LA with no problems.
