OK, here is a vid of a recent track day I had at SDR.
There was a ton of footage, but its kind-of a teaser vid that only shows a few of the cars from our club. ill post more later, maybe even some of the "non-sanctioned" stuff on the way home
some of its a bit embarrassing at the beginning LOL, but its funny. i was happy for its first trip to the track with the new build. lots of room for easy improvement.
that orange crx was sick...it ended up running a high 9 and trapping over 140 before it was done.
that srt4 with bolt-ons ran 120 MPH on one run. its a beast from a roll.

Umm, gee, thanks. I was thinking I should take it off when I race,but its in excellent condition overall, witht he original bracing not sagging at all. Part of the stitching at the font come loose though, so it catches a little air unfortunately. I need to get it redone. It would probably make it faster.

Im pretty sure it did, but we didnt get that run on footage unfortunately. It was spinning the tires through the1/8th mile mark. The dude didnt know how to drive it, but it definately put down some badass runs later on that day.

lol, thanks. I had no idea the turbo was that loud outside the car.
you can hear it screaming down the entire track..over the music. its nuts.

yea its def. trapping a lot of air on you - thats all i was tryin to point out. Taking it off completely would probably be worse becuase the tailgate would catch even more.

So you think "fixing" the stitching would be better than just taking it off to race? I actually wondered about that recently. Id like to put a hard cover on it, which Im sure would be the best overall, but I like the "stock" look it has now for some reason. I hear that lowering the tailgate doesnt really help either, if you take the cover off.

ill have to take some...it basically tore off on the rear part where it stiches into the lip that clamps down on it at the front of the bed.. The support structure for the cover is still like new though. the truck is pretty much mint otherwise.
