Found a sy. Driven by the place a hundred times and just happened to look into the carport and noticed it sitting there.. I stopped in today cause the owner was out and talked to him for half an hour.
Its got a canopy on it, steel wheels with hubcaps, and it was covered in dust. Otherwise it looks great. Paint appears to be in decent condition (hard to tell with the dust on it), Body is straight, and when he fired it up it started right away and purred. I dropped in on him so it wasnt like he was expecting me.
Story behind it is he bought it new from his big rig dealer and they shipped it up from Cali for him. He's has it ever since and its been his wifes grocery getter.
good news. He still has the wheels and tires. they have 10K-12K miles on them. He still has the tonnaue cover that was on it when he purchased it. Interior is mint. The truck only has 25K miles on it, and its all stock. All thats been done to it is fluid changes.
He's expecting to be able to get 15K for it, which seems reasonable to me. Is that about fair with the market value?
