I just thought for fun I would post up some pictures for you guys to guess: what did it?
It is a two part question. First tell me what the part is and Second tell me what made the hole.

The following people cannot take a guess because they already know and that wouldn't be a guess now would it. Big Mike, CrazyKaese.

Lets see how long it takes and how many guesses.

im gonna say.....front diff.....blew an axle and hit diff.....im wrong but thats all i can come up with. Or maybe the prop shaft hit it...hell i dont know..lmao

diff, center pin bolt broke and pin came out

front diff and you hit it with a hammer trying to get it back in place.

One last guess front diff - Connecting rod

YES. That is it.

When my engine blew the connecting rod broke spun around and punctured the oil pan and punched a hole in the front diff cover. I pulled the front diff this past weekend and replaced that cover. I cleaned out all the schrapnel and put it all back together. Here is a pic from the inside.
