New for Nats 11 is a special race for the winners of the 6 heads up classes (Stock,Stock Turbo, Super Stock, Top Stock, Pro Stock, & Outlaw). They will be paired up and race on a .500 full tree with a .10 breakout from thier fasts winning run in thier Heads up class.

Example:
Joe Keller wins Stock with a fastest et of 13.52

He is paired up with Josh Straub (Tooky) who won Top Stock with a 11.47.

They would race with Keller getting a 2.05 second head start. First one to the finish with out red lighting or running faster than thier dial in. Keller's dial would be 13.42. Tooky's dial would be 11.37 .

Pairings will be as follows:

1st round:
(a) Stock champ Vs Stock Turbo Champ
(b) Super Stock champ vs Top Stock champ
(c) Pro Stock champ vs Outlaw champ

2nd round:
(a) winner vs (b) winner
(c) winner vs closest loser(smallest margin of total lost) from 1st round

Finals;
2 second round winners face off.

Winner will recieve the first ever Sy/Ty Nats CROWN and other prizes TBA.

I like it. It'll be nice having folks calling me "king". :rotf:

Good thinking bringing the top loser back as a consi. No use running a bye, and it adds a little drama during first round eliminations. I imagine these will be close races - is there a tiebreaker in case of tie for the consi spot? (I know it's rare for 2 races out of 3 to have the same MOV, but it is a possibility and we should probably have a rule setup ahead of time. I vote "closest to dial", although that still leaves a miniscule chance of a tie remaining. In that instance, run head-to-head, winner advances. (Thought process: I'd like to avoid a head-to-head tie breaker if possible, as it could hurt the winner's chances in the 2nd round due to extra heat buildup.)

Not trying to start trouble, just want to make sure all the t's are dotted and i's are crossed.

Bowling Green timing system measure margin of victory to .0000. If it does come to a tie out to a 10,000th of a second. We will have a runoff.:rotf:

Where would I be classified?

I have a VERY heavily modded truck that might survive a 14.50 pass.

I guess I'm screwed.

Your vehicle is very unique to say the lest Robert. Since I am teching the trucks, I would say it falls into Outlaw Sy/Ty due to the blower. The same as silly, Jeff Scott, & Will Robbins.

What happens if two trucks that do not run line up at the line? Do we just call it a draw?

Push, baby, Push.

The owner of the truck sits in driver seat and his friends push him through the 1/4 mile.:rotf:

speaking of tech and rules i think there sould be a list of what is needed etc,i know myself and others would not want to drive that far and not be able to run our trucks.unless other than helmets etc all is on

You know, this class your talking about, King of the Track, is just another class for Jeremy. Seeing he is a Professional Bracket racer I think he should not be allowed to run this class if he wins his.

At least that would give the others a fair chance at the Crown :p
