Sy two mufflers, Ty one....why??? Can a Sy........

be set up with only one? I don't see a reason why not but I assume the factory had a reason to install two???????

sure, just get a good flowing muffler, course dont expect it to hook up the the cat-back part of the stock exhaust.

all the aftermarket cat-backs run a single 3" pipe/muffler

The Sy's stock setup is pretty dumb. After the cat, it splits into two pipes which run next to each other all the way to the back. Each pipe has a muffler. It would've been a whole lot easier to run a bigger single pipe back, and stick a dual tip on the end.
