Thanks if I had some caltracs or something it should do a lot better it was kinda hopping around just barely spinning the tires.

I haven't torn them apart yet, but i think it killed the viscous in this transfer case as well (i would imagine driving it 30 miles fwd could do that) so i am probably just going to get a ty case and put it in. PM me what you'd want for yours.

I doubt i'd be able to make it to the rental but I'd love to, have to see what I can do.

After your facebook post I have been on here looking and I cant find a single thread where someone broke a transfer case output shaft. Found an old one from 2005 where Jeff was talking about one exploding but that was due to the planetary i think.

in 13+ years I never heard of or came across a thread about someone breaking one, I really think you are the first.

Yes, never seen one break myself. We did see a viscous coupler explode inside but shaft was fine.

If you would take the rest of the sand bags out of the damn bed, this shit wouldn't happen.

I actually saw a thread of yours from 2005 i think when i was searching about the exploded one but the pics are all dead. You still have those? I also saw the pics of the vc you cut open, that was pretty cool.

I keep eating cheeseburgers to keep the thing from going too fast. I did really think it was going to be a 9.xx day, but my shaft couldn't take the abuse. :)
