OK, some updates. I got the cam installed a few days ago. Here is a pic of work in progress:
When I went to set the lifter preload, I noticed that the rods were rubbing the bottom of the oil pan. Apparently, the machine shop that did my build just left the oil pan a little loose so the Eagle rods would not hit on two of the rods, so this had to come out. No fun.
All that work to fix this:
While I was putting the motor back together, I tried to hide as may wires as possible. Here is a pic of the Alt. wires tucked behind the fuel rail. I tried to do this with as many wires as possible.
I also went ahead and did the on the block oil filter mod that helped clean up the engine bay:
Lastly, today, I finally had a bracket made to hold the I/C tube onto the TB and avoid any future blowing off.
