Sy 2256 Internet scam ?

I came across this Sy, vin # 1GDCT14Z4M8802556 for sale last week on classifideads.com.

I contacted/emailed the ad and this was the reply.......

So I replyed asking,
Truck number.
Re send pics.
Condition of cladding.
Ect ect.....

So I replyed, asking for truck number again and received this,

So I think it's a possible scam using a SYCLONE ???

Such a bizarre scenario...I'd almost want to do it to see where it goes.

It's fishy though...never heard of a car being delivered for inspection before any money exchanges hands.

Be interested to see what the carfax says first.

Very much a scam. 18000 to register in Portugal? BS.
Standard of English? Well, I've seen worse but the style is Nigerian.
10 day shipping? It's 3 weeks minimum to the US.

They want your phone number so they can "cram and slam" charges onto it.

When I was selling my Typhoon I got a LOT of these scam messages from a professional buyer looking to make purchases for their "clients" I was told that the "client" have given them a budget to work with and cut them a check for that amount. The amount of the check was a LOT more than the asking price of the vehicle. I was told that a once I cashed the check a carrier would arrive shortly after that to pick up the vehicle. Not once did I respond to any of these types of messages.

i love messing with these guys, i did this with a laptop, they sent me a check in the mail and a shipper to pickup the laptop, accept when they came to get the laptop the next day i played stupid and had no idea, but the kicker is they actually use real companies to do this, he fedex'd me a check to one of my companies offices, in the name of "Harry Paratestie" i still have the check somewhere lol looked like a legit business check accept printed on a home printer. well at least i let him waste money didnt really waste much of my time, just a few emails lol
