Good point. 5k could be when it was last connected. IMO if the condition does not match the mileage, than the low mileage is irrelevant.

In order to have true value I felt it needed to be #s matching. Last I spoke with seller he was going to his friends house to verify #s on block. And never heard back from him again. He originally told me first motor blew up and they replaced under warranty. Then changed story when he realized I was worried about original engine and said it was fixed under warranty. Anyways the holes in cab floor and box floor are what ended it for me.

That could be your mission in life ;). I bought it on ebay, sent the $500 deposit and then had a forum member lay eyes on it. I about puked when I saw detailed pics revealing the real deal.

As 518 stated, the "original motor" has never surfaced. The owner told me it was at the shop, which it was not. Then he stated his partner had it in the building. Come to find out, it was not. Then it was alleged to be at his house. Finally asked for refund of good faith deposit or I would file a PP dispute and the owner reluctantly refunded my deposit minus $15 (???).

Only things of real value on this truck are the seats (even though they were rebolted in backwards) and the instrument cluster. Almost ALL the cladding is hacked up underneath or busted. Don't recall 1 good piece.

Perhaps you have the heart and resources to resurrect it :tup:

Just glad I didn't end up with his crap-pile. Almost lost $1140 to a transport company.

Bottom line is he heard from me after the sale on a number of occasions. Following his repeated lies regarding what was promised to be included I the sale, I waived off.

Any other interested parties should tread cautiously with this tool.

This truck would be a little too much work. I'm sure there are some good parts to get off of it if the price was right.

That $15 was probably the best $15 you spent to avoid ending up with that headache.
