Just thought I would share this with the board. Decided to enter a local car show with the Sy early last week. Did the usual clean up and a fresh coat of Zainos. Parked it for display on Thursday afternoon, and got numerous questions about it over the weekend. She was registered in the 4wd Original category with 120 other vehicles competing.
Much to my surprise I was called in this morning to prove it was 4wd even though I had ALOT of literature on display with it. After physically having to crawl under her and point out the front propshaft they concurred it was in fact 4wd. Well 3 o'clock this afternoon Sy 1616 was announced as the winner in her class...Got a pretty nice trophy, T-shirt and dash plaque. This all came as a surprise considering some of the other trucks in the class, but more importantly it was her first formal show.
