surge at idle

Ive got a 92 sonoma gt. For the last 2 months i have had a surge at idle only. So bad that i have to put it in neutral at stop lights to hold it in place. Ive replaced to fuel pump, distributor, iac, tps, map and computer and it still does the same thing. Anyone have any idea of what it may be. Im lost.

Have you cheacked the spider assembly and fpr? Pull the Vrtec plate off and remove the int manifold tuning valve. Use a flashlight and look inside for signs of a leak...clean spots in the manifold. Or you could pull the upper intake and have a look around. Have you checked compression or done a leakdown test lately? Just throwing some ideas out there. Not sure how helpful the last two will be, though.

I had a 92 blazer with the vortec, I replaced the spider rail, all the sensors, EGR valve, etc, etc, etc.... Turned out to be a bad O2 sensor causing the problem, not saying this is your problem, but it was in my case.
