When you put a tune in, you can pick from performance ,economy, or tow. I'm not sure if you need to run premium or not. My guess is that whatever the vehicle requires is what you would need. I'd go to the superchips site and look up the specs on this unit, model # 2815.

It's for all 6.0's from 96-07.If you want to make sure go to the superchip site and look up model # 2815.
