:( I lost- coming home sunday night and i pull up next to a stock lookin tacoma and light turns green- and he takes off i was like-damn he is gonna get murdered so i catch the next light with him- i boost about 5lbs and take off, all the sudden i hear a whine and it was like i was standing still he FLEW past me. -i need some serious tuning help :x

Unless he has some serious mods you shouldn't be getting murder by him, especially off the line. With basic mods (exhuast intake and SC they should be runnning high 14's)

I think its a pretty cool looking truck - at least the one that Motor Trend tested. It had all the TRD options.

You still shoulda kicked his a$s - regardless of what I think though.

:)

how????????The s-runner is pretty mean but its no where near the harshness of a syty. Definately get some tuning done man. Modded, that thing still shouldnt have seen anything but taillights.

What happened my co-worker has a supercharged s-runner, i have beat him senceless now over an over, my stock sy is not all that but still cmon a toyo truck, you have disgraced us all...........newest kill a dodge hemi cali truck.....

Just hook up with someone in your area that can tune worth a damn then put some money on the rematch with that guy and redeem your self :x

Was that Tacoma Blue?

If so it has a 2JZGTE in it with a big single turbo and runs 11's.

There are a few 2JZ powered Tacoma's in North Jersey and I think the guy from Colorado has a blue one.

enough with the emarasment thing,
i now have a better tranny, but it still doesnt work right, and the shift kit slows me down. :x

a month after the race i found out i was only runing about 2-5lbs of boost is my guess. :roll: so with a broken tranny and almost no boost i lost. :lol:
