They are great trucks I also had an 00 Sierra ext-cab w/ the 5.3...I ran an 14.9 @92mph.
It would of been cooler if I was in the sy....especially since he beat Scott's syclone before. Scott lives about 4 miles from me & the trucks both have the windshield banner on. So he would of thought it was his truck again. I'm sure I will see him again.

It gets better:

Eric (syty owner) came from Houston to drive in the syclone with me today. Well I was running low on fuel so I stopped into the same gas station to fill up & guess who pulls in.
He was in a Ford king ranch truck.
Conversation wentt something like this.
Me: Hey don't I know you?
Him: Hey man
Me: Whats going on?
Him: I just blew the motor.
Me:Twat???
Him: Yeah, something gave out.
Me: After all the shit I was talking about how good the ls1 motors are?
Him yeah, I think a piston let go.
Me:Well here's the syclone I was telling you about.
HIm:What did it run?
Me: 11.40 on weds at SAR with only 65% throttle...My throttle cable was stretched. Should hit high 10's now.
Him: Damn
Me: (wife calling on the phone)...cool men let me know what happens.
Him: yeah, see yah.

Did you get any more information on his truck? Did you let him know that you were looking for him on the board you posted to? :lol:

Nah, Eric was in a hurry to get back to Houston. Had to keep it short.:squint:

He's a youngster (maybe high school). He'll be back with a little more power.
He said he wants at least 500rwhp.

Ive played around with the same black supercharged chevy when he was running NOS on it and beat him from of course a stop but from 30 up also.....I know for a fact that I can and would stomp that trucks @$$ again....right after I replace the transmission..lol. Bruce....let me know if your gonna run him with your Syclone....I want to film it..

I saw him at WalMart the other day....heres a surprise..he broke the engine...lol. he "said" they are doing an LS2...I told him im building my trans in a few weeks, and to come find me when he's done and see if he can keep up......once the trans is done im gonna tune the truck like i had for the 11.9 run i made. should i tune it for 116?

Alky is just fine...unless you plan on running 116 all the time. They are both rated for 110+ octane.
