Thats it I did that in about 3 weeks after i got my Ty, I suggest that you make sure everything looks good and just double check everything.

sounds like a good plan to me, our basic "safety" mods. A very good start to tuning your truck, get all those done then experiemnt with a good scantool. Have you got Datamaster yet? Or another scantool? Highly recommend. Good luck.

add: change all fluids - rear axle - transfer case - front axle

(These are recommended @ every 15,000 mi, but rarely done)

Also, get a complete trans flush. Just dropping the pan and refilling, leaves a huge amount of old fluid in the torque converter, valve body, and accumulators.

Since you just got your truck... here are a few other I would suggest, if they are not already done:

1. Aftermarket Boost gage
2. Fuel pressure gage
3. Adjustable Fuel pressure regulator
4. idler and pitman arm (if your handling is crap)
5. Adding some sort of a resevoir to the IC system to get some more capacity for water.

By the way.. when you have the tranny pan off.. don't let anyone talk you into popping one of those "shift improvement" kits in there until you have checked thoroughly into it, you may actually make your shifting worse than it was before.

Just my $ 0.02 worth.

im not even thinking about putting a shift kit in, i jsut want the car to be safe from detonation and fun to drive. i want to keep it as stock as possible, as there are not too many of these trucks and not too many more htat are not raced up, dont get me wrong speed is good, but i bought it for a fun car not a race car.

thanks all for your input
