Subframe Connectors?

Re: Subframe Connectors?

No, I'm doing it rather slowly, one chunk at a time. The motor is one of the last one. I plan to eventually supercharge mine too... just far down the road. My first budget drainer was to completely do the suspension over. The paint and engine transplant will kind of intertwine with each other, paint being done after the engine is in. What are you doing about your transmission? I was thinking 4L80E. Maybe 6L once prices drop in a couple of years.

Well, I got the 4L60E with my LS1 so that will work for awhile. I figure when I'm ready to supercharge it I'll get a built tranny to take the power. My goal is to just get my 4 link and rear end all set upbefore I graduate highschool and go to college in a year and as far as my LS1 swap goes, it should be driveable in about a month.. I know once I start college I won't have spending money like I do now, so I'm trying to get as much done now as I can. But yea when you start swapping in the LSx motor and have any questions, feel free to pm me.

My 3 link hooks way better than the leafs could so not only better for handling, but better short times as well.
What were your short times before and after, for comparison?

Hey, Super-GT, are you going with a bolt-in 4 link, or a full frame one? How much is it going to cost you for the setup+alxe? Drums or Disk? Are you doing this part yourself, or having a shop do most of the work?
