I have used the search feature and I am going crossed eyed now and I still have not found the answer I am looking for. Can anyone tell me who/where I can find New replecement rear air ride shocks for my 93 Typhoon. I know I will hear some people say ditch them and buy KYB or save my money and get the coil overs. I just want to know where I can buy new air ride shocks that are direct bolt ons. Your help is greatly appreciated!!!

General Motors would be my only guess, if they are still made. I know the system itself is adapted from a Cadillac of some sort, so its possible they are still available.

I still have mine somewhere, they were good when I pulled the system 5 years ago, if youre interested I can try and find them.

Yep, I got a set a few years ago.. They were Gabriels from Pep Boys.. Everything, including the air lines, fit without issue..

I ended up yanking them when I lowered the Ty as they were too soft and bottomed out all of the time.. The KYB Monomax ended up working out much better in the back..

Just for reference, is there a part number for the KYB monomax that work better for a Typhoon that has the Belltech 2" lowering springs? I know there are a ton of threads out there giving the part numbers for the KYB shocks I just want to make sure there is not a difference for the trucks that have been lowered. Lowering may not make a difference but I just want to be on the safe side.

I am currently using the Monroe Air Max shocks. They work great for me. Bolted right in. I don't remember the ID#, but they should be able to look it up at the parts shop. Only mod was fitting the new air line into the T-fitting at the air compressor. You could also just cut the ends of the stock air lines going to the shocks, and fit them right into the new shock fitting.

GO to streetbeatcustoms.com this website has everything you could possibly need with respect to airride. They have standalone parts and vehicle specific kits. firestone also makes just the bags, ebay has them too. hope this helps.
