I can certainly appreciate your goal and competition. However, if it were me, I'd say go with a 20g. They are nice for the money and you can have a great time with them. Fairly hassle free since they bolt directly. Plus, the untrained eye doesn't know the deference.

You may want to reconsider i think Jerermy may be changing classes when he rebuilds his truck.

That's a good point Mike!
I knew he was needing a rebuild on his engine.
I don't really need to do anything on my turbo as my truck has a little over 60K on the clock now.
I thought a good freshing up may help me.

He is going to l35 heads, possible diff turbo over winter.

The 11.94 run still holds though so far nobody has come close and both jeremy and myself know more was still left on the table. For example 11.94 was run before he switched to code59 tune.

All his runs at nats were on 5 1/2 cylinders as 1 cylinder is down to 60psi compression now.

You might try contacting Forced Performance down in Texas, they deal with a lot of oddball Mitsubishi CHRA's. At the very least they might know who could help you.

Wade,

For some reason I thought your Ty had Dustan rear coilovers on it?
If so, those don't appear in the stock Turbo class description.

Shouldn't be too tough. My old truck went 12.46 @ 108.2 easily within the "stock turbo" class regulations. And I had a stock un-ported intake mani, stock down pipe, stock unported exhaust manifolds, 100% stock suspension. With a nice 3" downpipe, coilovers in the front, ported exhaust and intake manifolds.

I think if someone was really looking to build a truck specifically to the "stock turbo" regulations, you could go 11's all day long. It's just not a cost/time effective build, and thats why nobody does it. Why spend the time taking everything off and cleaning it all up, and pushing those stock parts to their limits, when you can just bolt on a PTE turbo and let 'er rip. I'm not saying the max effort stock turbo build is a waste, I'm just saying nobody has really chossen to go that route....
