Yeah you see the problem Don. I don't plan on keeping a stock size turbo forever, I guess if I was ever to upgrade I would just have to buy another DP ( not exactly what I wanted to do )

I'm guessing alot of the bigger ones are V-band style anyway so this DP wont work. I'm gonna have to do some more research and see what turbo's this DP will work with. I think all the RPM ones were this style and Waller's uses the stock exhaust housing, but beyound that I have no idea.

My downpipe will ONLY work with a stock style turbo. Basically stock or 20g.

If you go to PTE turbo, etc you will need a different downpipe.

Good news. 6 of the mild steel are shipped and recieved. So far everybody has been happy, at least from response I have gotten back. I did not compromise quality on anything, even if this project has taken WAY too long.

I have 7 stainless ready to ship, probably tomorrow.

The 2 MS dp's know who they are, both getting some special features.

Depending everything should be done this week, waiting on more stainless. Can't believe how many u-bends I have gone through making this project barely break even as it is, o well live and learn.

Mild.....5 minutes in the garage with a DEI Silicone (1500 degree) spray bomb :rotf:

it'll never last. looks good though :tup:

ashman.. thats kinda what I had in mind myself.

Still depating on coating it, but I already have a roll of black exhaust wrap I may use instead.

yeah, i bought a DEI wrap kit also. wanted to spray the pipe before putting the wrap on.

still trying to decide how to keep Jeff's cool logo with the wrap installed.

Thats why I am having it coated. I like the logo. I heard wrap can eat up the pipe? I am using the wrap for my a2a instead to keep the heat out.

I have 7 stainless to be boxed up tomorrow and hopefully shipped. Ian's will be 2 of those.

gjp's will be finished later this week, probably ship monday with your other item.

I will get some pics of the coating also.

JS is there ever going to be another group buy for these? I need to get my exhaust done this spring and i was trying to plan ahead. I think i stated this before if anyone drops out please keep me posted.

I chose that one b/c it was the right length for how I have my exhaust setup now, and I needed a 3in cat and the price was decent so I went with that.

will there be another run of these? i would also like to get on the list for one if there will be. if not then what other options are there. i am thinking about either a waller turbo or a 20g. not sure yet. i want more power but i don't want so much that i will be breaking something everytime i want to whoop up on a ricer, foxbody or fbody......

I am not going to committ to anymore gp's on these for awhile. I need to get the guys taken care of first.

I will say I am working on some options, now that I have jigs developed, etc to maybe make them available again in the future maybe.
