I believe my syclone's was 42.75" from eye to eye.

My stock Sy looks like just over 41 1/4" center to center of u-joint

go with gjp's # since you can tell exactly where he measured.

Dont forget the tape on the other end in on center of the joint in the pic. NOT at the end.
And the one in my truck is 3.25 Shorter :tup:

My 700r is a $3000K paper weight after 5k miles. And you ask why I went with a 80E

You're preaching to the choir, I'm on 700-R4 #3 myself ... Blake's rebuild has held up GREAT so far, my truck has never ran better. However, it's still a 700-R4 and it's only a matter of time. This is the last thing that I got from myclone for pratically nothing:

Obviously, it's more than *just* a transmission now...
