Jesse, you are right. You've exposed my evil intention to take over the world financed by the 9/11's.

Good. Why try to discredit someone who product you never used? 1 tranny with a shuddering TC doesn't make you an expert. If you think it is too expensive, fine. You didn't buy it.

Because I have personally seen the problems and heard about them.

My TC does not shudder, that was just a prime example from some of the emails!!!

Here you go again with your misinformation. It's not the TC. But since you are an expert on the subject you don't mind saying it is contantly and when it turns out you are wrong, you won't have the guts to admit it.

Hartman...

Hartman...

I have bought a Stage 7 kit from Brian, the complete Torrington Bearing Upgrade and a 9/11.

I am doing the work myself and it is the first tranny that I have ever rebuilt. I have called Brian on numerous occasions and he has always been fair with me and I have come to consider him a friend of mine more than just a person that I do business with.

I thought the kits were expensive and let's face the fact, they are expensive... but you get what you pay for. I have not one single complaint about what I have paid for and gotten after I have physically seen the differences in the tranny and the improvements that are made.

I think the people that are doing the talking are just doing that... I have had nothing but good experience with Brian and I have finished my tranny with a lot of his help and with his years of experience.

If you want to go fast... you have to pay for it. If you want to go fast and have the truck stay together anyway...

If Brian is making as much money as Jesse says he is.. he can just retire off this first run of the "New" 9/11's and be done with it. People like Brian make me stay on the list and read the archives... I thought I was the hostboard or on the Supra Forum when I first started reading this flame war. Ashamed some people will never grow up.. all they do is isolate themselves from the rest of the group and will not get help for anything.

That is my $0.02 worth.....

Anyway life goes on. Oh Nick, if you wouldn't mind sharing what your stage 7 kit includes and the price let us know. I would like to compare your part's to other kits.

Also where did this come from?

If Brian is making as much money as Jesse says he is

Brian, it's amazing how you blow things out of the water. All of this originated from one question. Why are you now charging $595 for a TC that you sold 2 months ago for $525? That's all I ask. I don't want to buy one I just don't want some newbie to get shafted. I am in no words saying you don't know what your talking about Brian, just being courious. Anyway Rusty said: It was caused by a spring that was deleted to make room for the clutches in the smaller space. Rusty had to stack more clutches to get the same surface area as the stocker and the spring was deleted to make room. The result is a premature clutch release on some units.

Anyway I'm sorry to the list to anyone who wished this never happeded.

I can't believe you just quoted yourself saying something completely retarded. How many clutches do you think are in there? 200-300? I'll give you a hint, it's one!!!!!! 1!!!! So what is the spring delete? There is one deleted but it isn't to make room for that extra million clutches in there. Premature clutch release? Do you even have the slightest clue how this TC works? My suggestion is to go out and study TC's for a while then come back on here and talk as if you knew it all the while. I don't know where you even came up with this crap and then you turn around and post it again. Man, you are funny.

Go read the list. I explained the price increase SET BY TCS and I wasted my time even caring to explain it to you privately last night. Can't you read?! It is a waste of time even explaining it to you. You aren't protecting any newbies, you are the shining example of a newbie that should learn more before you say a bumnch of stupid crap. If people are not smart enough to know not to listen to you, they will also be misinformed and if they like to talk as much as you, we'd really have a mess.

I love the way you sound so altruistic on the list like you have crowds of people on your side so disappointed who wished this never happened and that you are leading the charge of all that is decent. That is psychotic to think you are the defender of the people or something. You are the problem and the reason this whole discussion happened. You are sorry to everyone, com'on give me a break!

Who is this "WE" you keep trying to include yourself in? I don't see anyone else rushing to be in the "US" group you think your in. People see you for what you are.

McCoy dropped who?

I've never dealt with him. Heck, I've only every talked to him once or twice in all my life.

Are you being trying to start more lies and rumors? Do the list a favor and shut up.

i love my hartman tranny and it shows, 11.04 at 128mph You know , i hate freaking gas prices, they go up , they go down, but guess what , we still buy gas no matter what. Brian is a buisness owner, any smart buisness man raises prices, its just buisness. No disrespect jesse, but if you do not own your own buisness, you wouldn't know. I personally think harley davidsons are rediculas amount of money, what 25000 , hell it probably onlt costs 3000-5000 to make it, and peeps just keep buying them, i would rather have a 929cbr anyway. Some things in life are just expensive and we deal with it. I spent about 3000 with brian and i am very pleased with my tranny. I know i have spent more for less in life.

As far as the cost and what is in Brian's kits.. I am sure he is fully capable of letting anyone with genuine interest know what they cost and what is included in the kit.

I for one hope you are not included in the "we" that I feel like I have become a part of with my truck... there are a lot of great vendors and very knowledgably people on the list and this board.

Where is the admin to stop this childish thread. I for one think you should sell your Sy and buy a Honda.. the Honda boys would appreciate your spiteful attitude over on the Club Si board I am sure.

Brian, I would not worry about this anymore... this is an obvious waste of energy.

Grow up Nick your not a part of this so therefor you make it childish. Why does everyone think that there Hartman kit is what is making them do 11's? Any good tranny builder can do that.

I am not a part of this?

Did you not bring me into this... " Please list your parts and cost " ?

This is of course laughable. You don't know me and people who are bench racers like you make people who are really interested in cars not want to be a part of this list.

Once you graduate from High School and have a real job.. maybe you will be able to afford to put good parts in your truck... until then keep complaining and feeling sorry for yourself and run your 13.30's.

Oh if you makes you feel better.. you can continue the personal attacks on people that you don't know. I don't mind... you just keep showing your true face... I was willing to listen to your side of the story .. but you don't have a point... just continued personal attacks... there is only one person who is loosing out on what is going on... YOU

I am done with this post.

Brian's transmission kit may not make the truck "perform 11's" but they will hold up to the abuse of 11's... Not every "good" tranny builder will build a kit that holds up to AWD launches... That's a fact... As many have tried and found out the hard way.. search the archives and you'll see for yourself. Brian has tested his kits and stands by them... Since this needs explanation again I'll quote a previous post of mine from the Billet Servo thread roughly 2 months ago...

ParTyBoy said:
Jesse you may be relatively new, but there's truth to be told in a statement "that it's better to listen & learn than to preach" .. Brian works long hours.. and has more cumulative knowledge in regards to transmissions I'd fare to say that the entire list combined.. This is his proffesion... He is a proffesional.. Yes his kits may be higher priced, but you get a proffesional product with lots of experience & development.. The result is a product you know "WILL" work for your application... When I say will I mean it's something that is specifically built for the driving conditions of our vehicles.. It takes the chance and risk out of purchasing an inferior or faulty product when someone else has learned through trial & error tests before you...I'm not trying to rant or pick a fight.. but brian's sacrificed a lot for a lot of people... and it's sad to see someone who is so new take stabs at him that hasn't been around the past 5-10 years to see what Brian has done....

Hopely this can refresh your memory and answer your question...

Thats funny, i know i can sleep better at night knowing i have brians tranny and converter hooked to my motor that i am trying to get in the 10s, i think i will be there next visit to the track. I have to say that his kit and the way the tranny is set up , per his instructions is helping me get more mph in the quarter, the lockup is awesome, its like having another gear, i dont think any local tranny builder would have done that.Hell , peter went 10s on a stock tranny, he was lucky it held, and then there is 92 black typhoon who has had nothing but tranny problems and he is not going that fast. I know i feel better about my truck with his components and rd for a tranny, and i never said that my truck is going 11s because his tranny is in my truck, its just one of the peices of the overall puzzle to get in the 10s.
