So marine crankshaft work in SyTy engine without any works to block?

my crank blew 3 pieces but somehow no damage to the block.

splayer caps held it fine. Rods and pistons are safe.

Sy644,
You need to get the caps put back on the block and check the line bore. Take a picture of the first and second main cap (from the front) and post it. The amount of heat/damage that I see the mains of the block will most likely need to be replaced and have it honed. Please due yourself a favor and check all of the caps as when they get heat in them as yours did they move around to much when they heat up during normal running after the rebuild.

Another thing I am thinking the two and four rod took some heat also. Post pics of them also please.

Marine application should call for higher nickel content? I'm curious about the differences in balancing. Thanks for posting. I'm not on the FB wagon yet. Are you doing 4-bolt main caps for the new build?
