does any one have a heat sheild on the starter? my ty will not start almost if i go anywhere and shut it off, any ideas?

people will disagree with me but get a hot shot relay froom jeggs for your starter it is a common problem for our cars to be hard to start whenever; eithe rhot or cold try that or you can go further and either get a starter blanket made by thermo-tec also at jeggs Or get a new starter? HTH
