can a trans make my ty stall. was having a problem where truck wouldn't up shift without going into neutral and then back into drive. wouldn't downshift when coming to a stop. i would have to shift the truck into first when stopped, otherwise truck would start off in 3rd gear. then truck would stall half the time when shifted into 1st. then it got worse, would stall when at a full stop or when taking off from a stop . posted the shifting problem earlier this year and was told to clean governor . cleaned the gov and truck shifts real nice now, up and down. but i am still having the stalling . trans makes noise when truck stalls, possible trans problem. thanks for any replies.
