Re: sputtering problems

First to do check all ignition ground wires then
with engine running spray a fine mist of water
on the ignition wires to check for leaks this can
cause misfires at boost pressure did you service
the sparkplugs recently ??

Re: sputtering problems

I had the same exact problem from summer to winter. Ended up being that I had too much spark plug gap. .028 gap fixed it.

Stored truck for more than 2-3 mons? Did your gas spoil?

Not sure If it can be a problem. Investigate fuel pressure , pump prime, any suspect noises so on.

I run a blend of 100/93 in my syclone. the gas is guaranteed to be good for 90 says stored. I Just empty my syclone tank because I think I am going ti be storing it longer, and I filled my honda with a nice blend.

Could be a low octane issue. Or fuel related.

Re: sputtering problems

I will check the plugs too hopefully thats it something simple... the gas i put fuel stablizer in it to help it be ok i also just let it idle occasionally but if there isnt any salt on the ground ill drive it around so usually i can run the gas out and put new in .. i did think it was the fuel pressure that it wasnt getting enough gas so i turn it up but still didnt work i was told there is a sensor that tells it to give it more gas in the summer then the winter that it may be bad but what sensor is that??

Re: sputtering problems

Check the dizzy cap. Remove it and check for corrosion inside.
The pickups and all. I had a similar issue and this was where it stemmed from.
Good luck!
