Re: Spring Swapmeet at Englishtown, April 28th

I will be there as soon as I can. Just got told today I have a mandatory meet at work saturday morning at 8:00 am. Hopefully it won't be too long. I work in Allentown,PA so I should be able to make it to the track in good time. I'm looking forward to it, I had a good time last year.

I'm going to trust my truck to make it down from NH, we'll see how that goes  ... although, it's starting to look more and more like I won't be able to make it. Still going to try my hardest, but who knows.

Sorry about the hijack, by the way

Well The weather will break by the morning and if your not in the show then you best bring a mudding truck cause i heard the place is a mess in the shoppers parking areas. We will be on the track sitting in our chairs waiting for you all to arrive.

Hey Jim i will be heading up arounf 7-730 so i don't get caught in any traffic plus give me a chance to clean it all up before people get there.

Morgan i will bring the jumper cables just in case!!!!!

Re: Spring Swapmeet at Englishtown, April 28th

well, I made it back.... barely....

due to all the traffic leaving, the water temps were a bit higher than where Id like them to be and thus making it idle like complete poop, so much that the truck decided to stall out on me comming up to the intersection of Rt9 and Rt 33 just as it turns to 4 or 5 lanes, and of course I was in the left lane.

I dont know how, but by some stroke of luck, I managed to get it fired up again before I created my own traffic jam. I already had the heat on full blast to try and reduce the water temps, but from then on out I had slipped it into neutral when I came up to a red light and kept the RPM around 1500 till it was time to move again.

Needless to say, I think this was the last trip for good old #180.

Damn I had a good time this year. I got home without too many problems, and I did manage to get the headlight bulb in Angie's Accord changed before it became a problem. She's uploaded the pictures she took from the stands. For now, cropped low-res versions are here: ***link removed***. Eventually she's going to move them off the index page, and maybe I'll be nice and post up the new URL. If anyone needs higher res versions of those pics, let me know and I'll get you taken care of.

EDIT: The heck with the outside link. I uploaded the pictures as attachments on the next page of this thread.

You should have come out and seen it in person Steve. Angie's working on making the pics smaller to sort this out.
