Sport orange head paint

Im thinking of repainting my heads with Chevrolet Orange de1620, has anyone done this and maybe have pix ? My heads have been modded with bigger valves, port and polish, so the guy I got them from gave them to me orange, I guess to represent that. I repainted them aluminum grey...

Opinions please ?

This is what it looked like on the previous rebuild (the red on the valve covers were blackened by turbo heat)

This is the color Im tempted to use on the heads, with Black valve covers.

Let me know what you guys think please...

Personally I would say NO! But I'm a purist, leave it stock guy.

I would only paint my heads to hide the fact that they were aluminum. :dunno:

From the 70's. It's your truck, do it the way you want. I wouldn't put it on my heads

They're cast iron heads? Paint it all black like GM did. :tup:
