What speakers should I get for the dash of my Syclone? Should I get factory size or use 4" with the adapter? That brand is good and part number if you know it. Thanks

I'm using the Polk 4x6 plate with a 4" woofer and a separate tweeter. Sounds good to me.

Using these in my second gen and I love the way they reproduce the high notes.

I have Polk 4x6 DB461P in my SY.
I had to grind off a little of the plastic around the nubs where the speaker gets mounted on the speaker grille (underneath side). It gave a little more depth to get the speaker all the way in the dash and screw down the grille all the way on the top side.

I would do the 4x6 like the infinity. But look for one that has a tweeter level adjustment. Sometimes the tweeters can be a little annoying, but with the level adjustment you should be able to put it where you like it. I had Infinity in #42 before i traded it in.

Those do look like very nice speakers. Were are the nubs you had to grind down for fitment?

Nubs are gone. Only thing bad about putting replacement speakers up front. Most are not a direct fit. Some massaging needed.
