South Florida Syclone Owners.....

Wow. Haven't posted on here in a while.

I get on here after a long hiatus and figure a search would yield a lot of posts concerning reputable shops and SY owners in the Lake Worth/WPB/Ft. Lauderdale area. No such luck - not many recent posts. We are relocating to the area next month (Aug 2015) and I want to get my Syclone back to it's former glory.

It would be wonderful to hear of future wrenching weekends and a good shop familiar with Syclone's that can help get it worked out. It has been neglected for the past 2 years but I am at a point where money can be spent, finally.

Anyone out there care to chime in? I would certainly appreciate it.

SS Performance Automotive in Miami is the only shop I know of that has experience with working on SyTys.

Gary Shanock can vouch for them.


Next major meet for FL would be Miami Wrenchfest which takes place sometime at the end of January.

Another option for you might be Chris Crown at AC Carcarft in Fort Lauderdale/Oakland Park. Chris is the co-owner of a speed shop and owns a Typhoon. He helped me with my Ty after it was joyrided while being shipped during a move to South Florida last summer.
