sound deadener is 100 sq foot enough

ok theis typhoon is way to loud when driving, its a darn echo chamber, Im tearing the interior out for a good cleaning (carpet is disgusting) im thinking 100 sq foot of deadener should be enough for the floor and walls, the roof wont be done at this time because It needs to be redone and I dont have the material.

Just a suggestion try doing the doors first. In my expereince, they seem to have the most effect.

I have to pull the carpet, it has this weird sand in it that will not vacuume out Im gonna hang it up and beat it like a 2.00 hooker then power wash it

How did you do the doors? Did you put the deadner inside the doors on the outside skin of the vehicle? Or did you somehow fill all of the access panels and coat the innermost part of the door? Any pics?

Did you see the dash at woodward its looks like the grand canyon, snaged a 99.9% crack free dash at the pick a part for 25.00 so the seats and console have to come out to do that, gotta pull the carpet for this "desert dust" and to run the RCA and power cables for the amp. Labor day weekend is a long one so thats the plan right now, plus Ill bribe beavis into helping (keep it quiet he doesnt know yet)

100 sq feet is plenty( works out to 10x10) so the inside of the ty is smaller than that. My friend did the inside of his jimmy and he did it in a weekend also. Must be a stereo thing I guess.

I did both outer skin and then I did the inner skin, I cut aluminum flashing to cover up the bigger holes. I did a thin layear of ensolite which a lightweight foam deadner. I haven't tested it on my Syclone though (been in the garage for awhile), but I have done double layer in other cars doors with good sucess.

Im going to use the spray/brush in for the inside of the doors, where I cant reach my hands to put the mat, If anybody wants to come help theres free Beer and BBQ involved

P.S. Try the E-Dead V.2 brush on fothe inside of the doors like you are planning and the roof / pillar mouldings!
