Some new Custom Tint...

Thought I would share with you all.. I was bored last week and so I decided to do a little custom tint work on the TY... I call them "Ghost Flames" since it is not too noticeable and drastic from the outside. I usually change it up every now and then. It has been a while since I did free hand graphics. I need to get back into it. Let me know what you all think??

What kind of tint law do you guys have where you're at?
Any tint on the driver or pass. side windows won't fly here in the land of the enlightened.

35% is allowed on the fronts up here in WA... I know all about the laws in CA.. I grew up there. And did 17 years of my tinting there.. Did alot of custom cars...

But the design on the the TY is made of 2 layers of 35%... Most of the Police dont really care as long as they can see inside the car. lol Even my windshield is tinted with 50%...

Thanks for the comment.. I Know that some people like it and some wont.. But for me its just another selling point for my shop.. Rolling advertising is always free....

It looks good. I prefer tribal flames over conventional - but I certainly can't bad mouth the work.

Yeah I do too... But like I said, its been a while since I have done any free hand work so I just was trying to practice . lol....

It has its place, and is incredible work. I like it, not sure if I would put it on my truck though. Guess I'm more old school. Just clean and with normal tint.

I did something similar on a previous vehicle. I put the flames on after the windows werealready tinted with 35% to give it the ghost look. This appears to be done the same??

I like the way it came out, but I am not tint person. In my area, the cops seemed to harass everyone of my friends with tinted windows (even when it was legal).

Yeah like I said. Its not for everybody. Just thought I would share a little bit of what I do for the almighty dollar... I do plan on putting a Typhoon logo in the back window some time soon too.. But for now I just have my business logo in vinyl...

Don, I'll volunteer my truck for a Typhoon logo in the back window, and maybe redo all the tint on the truck this summer.:tup:

That would be sick. Typhoon or Syclone mimics of the original decals but in tint style on the back window.

Did you cut the back layer of the tint with your plotter or by hand. I want to do the same to mine when I get a chance. Do you have the sy and ty logo I could use a vetorized copy in eps or ai. I use Flexi Sign for my plotter.
