Forgot to mention that one night after leaving a bar around midnight (did not drink) boosted it around a corner to catch a friend I was following somewhere and a cop was in a parking lot across the street. I look in my rearview mirror to see 4 cop car lights behind me. 2 state and 2 city. I pull over and they yank me and my friend out. They thought I stole the truck. I proved it was mine. Then I get a ticket for unsafe start! I tell him it is all wheel drive and it would take more than I did to have an unsafe start (I never got over 35mph). He proceeds to tell me it is 8!!!!!!!!! points on my license and he better not see me around again with my windows tinted as dark as they are. I think he felt the fool for calling 3 other cops on a bogus stolen car story and had to give me something. Luckily I pay basketball with a cop and he took care of the ticket for me!!!! yeah

i was working on the dash of my ty since the low coolant light came on instead of the check engine light and put it all back together thinging i was done and the damn thing wouldn't start. i spent a week chasing wires, removing the alarm w/ the ignition diable feature thinking it had gone bad or i had shorted it and had a few not so nice fone conversations w/ the nearest dealer in austin. finally broke down and bought a new ecm and still didn't fix it. i had just about gave up and popped the guage cluster back out and damn if the truck didn't start. turned out when i'd put the cluster back in i accidently ended up with two of the little prongs touching

We are engaged!!!! She was sitting with me in garage Friday planning our wedding while I spilled antifreeze all over myself working on the TY. How can you pass up a woman like that.

I was thinking about somehow mixing a gift registry in with this site. Maybe the moderators can help. I need ALOT more TY stuff in addition to the money for the cladding! I was hoping I can have it running by the wedding so we can get to the honeymoon faster

I did mention to her this other post going on of hot women pictured with a Typhoon. Her response was not promising for that happening here

OK< best post this before Rene does. He was laughing when we worked out my DM problem and WBO2 install issue.

The LM 1 wouldn't connect to the laptop - because I plugged the interface cable into an AUX analogue port and there was no way EVER they would have worked (INnovate forum / searches / google).

The I worked that out - it was dark and I was using a flashlight

So the idle would be really bad and the truck would try and die when I put the analogue output into the car.

Turns out I soldered analogue 1 AND 2 togther - 1 is 1v and the other is 5 volts, so the voltage was all messed up.

I am a moron.

I know this tread is old but I just had to add this. I think I might have one of the dumbest things on this post. I used to own an eclipse GSX auto. I had the car in reverse instead of drive. So I boost launched my car through my step dads garage door.

One year, while working at an auto repair, shop as the "night" service manager, I watched an employee accidentally spill about 2 gallons of gas from a car he was working on. I went to get some floor dry and when I returned I find this moron using the shop vac to clean up the mess. The shop vac blow up straight in the air and took out about 4 florescent bulbs. I was so pissed because the car he was working on was covered in glass and the customer walks in to see this huge mess after hearing the explosion, it drew a crowd of local neighbors, and the owner fired that guy the next day. I hated the guy because he would un-manageable and would not take advice. and an IDIOT! Beat that story!

I was at the Hoover Dam and was getting gas with my friend on the way to Vegas, and we were filling up next to an astro van of inbred12 fingered morons.

The guy is SMOKING a CIGARETTE whilst pouring GASOLINE into his tank.

I went over and he got scared (I'm 6'4" 250 lbs) and started shouting at him with my crazy British accent. We are typecast in movies so I guess you all think we are evil lol.

He bugged out and threw the cigarette on the floor. I picked it up and chased his truck out of the station.

F******* Moron.

Ok, the obvious aside, why would you even do a boost launch in a drive way?

I don't boost launch but I have brake torqued and built boost in my driveway I also accidently boost launched my Typhoon with steering wheel one complete turn to the right. (I had turned around and I thought I was going straight), that sure sure scare the crap out of me, I almost boost launched into a curb & telelphone pole.
