Re: smoked a bull sh!t civic

how many do I need to order? .....by the way I forgot to mention we did go from a roll twice. The first time was at 50mph and I left him about 2-3 cars back the whole time. The second time was from a forty then he had me by 2-3 cars. I talked to my friend who was in the car with the other kid. Said the kid was Sh!tting his pants when I was staging while the tires were spinning, and the truck was hopping around :D . Then everyone told me that I smoked all 4 on the launch. Funny how everyone that doesnt own an awd vehicle thinks its great. I wish I had remembered to set the battlebars

Are brake SHOES like brake pads , just for the rear drums? If so who sells OVERSIZED ones?! Thanks ---

Here's some info I've acquired a while back when I was wondering the same thing

Try this link for the part #'s for the Manual cylinders. http://home.swbell.net/loeryder/partbrak.html

As for the long shoes when you buy drum brake shoes you get 1 "long" shoe and one "short" shoe. The actual metal backing portion is the same, but one has more brake material on it (longer). You leave your long shoe in and replace the "short shoe with the new long shoe. Return the short shoes for your core refund.

But if your going to open up the drums why not do the whole sha-bang so you have no worries for a long time..

Wheel Cylinders - Wagner F110261 - $11.99 ea
Brake Shoes Morse/Wagner 514 - $14.99 set
Brake Shoe Hardware kit - Wagner F110946S - $8.99 set

The hardware kit does both sides of the axle, so you only need one kit. I keep all of this in stock if you need anything. Pretty compact stuff so figure about $8-10 S&H.
